Hello.

 My name is Kristi Larson.

 I am photographer captivated by the beauty and magic that surrounds the birth of a child.

 As an artist, I have long been drawn to the beauty of the female form. In my mind, a woman is most beautiful when she is pregnant. Her hair becomes lustrous and flowing, her body develops voluptuous curves; she becomes more radiant as she prepares for the birth of her child. During this time, she is the perfect blend of beauty and strength.

 This was my catalyst to becoming a maternity photographer five years ago. Having the opportunity to artistically capture the anticipation of the unknown between the parents and the all the joy that surrounds them prior to the birth of their child is unparalleled.

 Photographing newborns quickly became a natural extension of my work. I adore documenting the gentle folds of a newborn’s back, the downy hairs that grace their shoulders, and the sweet curl of their fingertips. Finding each one is l like discovering delicate clues as to what this tiny person will become. They are so small and so innocent in the first few days of their life and yet they have the whole world before them.

 It is an honor for me to photograph these moments. I have dedicated my career to exclusively photographing maternity, newborn and baby sessions. To me there is no better subject.
