Catching up | Edmonton Maternity Photographer
So before I leave for the fun and the sun, I wanted to a little catch up of some of the sessions I photographed before Christmas.
This beautiful family is the family who had twins late Dec. I couldn’t believe when she told me over the phone that she was having twins! And when I saw her for her session I was still in disbelief. (there was no way that there were two babies in her tummy!)
I could tell from the moment that I met this little girl’s parents, that she was going to be one of the most loved and adored little girls in the world.
She also decided like Georgia from the 2 posts ago, that she preferred to stay awake for most of her session. (no sleeping for this 6 day old, no way.)
And lastly for today’s recap, we have Chance.
He is a little cutie. He feel asleep after nursing in the position his mom is holding him in. I thought that he looked really adorable and comfortable. It was also a great oppertunity to capture his chubby little bum.
Chance is slghtly older than most of my newborn clients, but he still posed for me like a little champion.
So, I am off to go do some last minute stuff for my trip tomorrow. If you do need to reach me while I am gone, send me an email and I should be able to respond to you the same day I receive it.
Take care, and I will talk to you soon.

The new space has finally begun to take shape. The walls are painted, the floors are in, the lighting fixtures are in, and the bathroom actually looks like a bathroom now. (who knew….before today it looked like a dark closet with a pipe sticking out of the ground.) All we need is a door (very important) and some baseboards.
I am getting very anxious to move all of my “stuff” over. New studio here I come! I will post some images of the new space when it’s completely finished.
Next week I am heading to the sunny beaches of Jamaica. (I am so looking forward to warm weather, a good book, and complete relaxation.)
So if you need to get a hold of me, it’s probably easiest if you email me. I will be back to work on the 22 nd.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. The twin baby girls arrived on the 23rd and they have had their first photo session. They were only 3 weeks early. Each of the girls weighed over 5 pounds. (way to go girls!!) I can’t wait to show images from their session when I get back.

Sweet baby Georgia arrived into our world at the end of October. (she was photographed in early November and just getting posted now….oh I am so behind
She was just a little dream to work with. She hardly fussed at all, but she also didn’t want to sleep as much as I would have liked her to, but she was an angel nonetheless.
Here are a couple of the shots from her session.
Little angel sound asleep. I love the contrast of her hair to her skin.

Little angel wide awake…she was bound and determined that she was going to miss out on something if she stayed asleep for too long.
I am so glad that I had the oppertunity to photograph your first ever photo session.
Hope to see you again soon, take care.
