Hunter | Edmonton Baby Photographer
Hunter came to see me at 3 months old. He was supposed to come in as a fresh to the world newborn, but some complications occurred just after he was born, and his momma had to stay in the hospital for quite awhile before she got to come home and partake in our session. I am happy to report that all is well and the new family are doing great!
3 months is defiantly not easy to photograph as one would think it is. At 3 months babies are strong and not as pose able as a fresh 10 day old baby, but they can give you amazing eye contact! I am a total sucker for big eyed babies!

Look at the yummy back wrinkles!!

Showing off his muscles and stong he is!

Hunter and is beautiful momma!

And Hunter with his proud daddy!
{It was a pleasure to finally meet you guys. I am so glad the momma is feeling better! }

Such a beautiful name for such an adorable little girl.
As I am typing this, Gisele may be welcoming a brand new baby brother or sister into her world. Congratulations Gisele, I just know you are going to be an amazing big sister : )

She is a big fan of sesame street and all of the characters especially Grover, Bert and Ernie. I just love her expression just before and after her daddy brings out his Grover puppet.
It’s like she is saying….what’s that? I have seen that before, I know I have…..Wait a minute is that Grover? IT IS GROVER!!! AAAHHH (that’s my translation….Gisele’s would be a mixture of french and english since she is currently learning both.)

Gisele is also a huge fan of singing songs and nursery rhymes. She knows all of the words and motions to the “itsy bitsy spider” and “twinkle twinkle little star”. She is quite the little performer : )

{thank you Helene and Ian for introducing me to Gisele. I had a great time during her session. Congratulations on your soon to be new arrival, I can’t wait to meet him or her when the wee-one arrives.}

9 months is the best time to photograph a baby! This stage is SO full of expression and cuteness; it’s so incredible to watch. Babies at this time will smile, giggle and pretty much drool on command.
They now know what tickles are and how to respond to them. They also know and understand silly sounds and funny faces.
It is so amazing how much their minds have grown in the short 270 days they have been alive.
I love their chubbiness. I love their big beautiful eyes. I love their eyelashes. I love their little cooing sounds. I love their big slobbery kisses.
Here is my latest little 9 month old and he is super cute, super happy and super smiley. You honestly can’t really ask for much more than that.

Family | Edmonton Child Photographer
This sneak peek is a little late, considering the family has already been in to choose their images, but I thought I should share the images any ways.
The older brother is a complete ham bone – - a complete facial expression machine!
The little guy modeled for my newborn casting call in July, and at the time of this session he was already over two months old! (time sure does fly by)

This family image was inspired by a family shot I seen from Shellie from This N That Photography.

16 months | Edmonton Baby Photographer
Little man Oliver was back again to celebrate his 16th month of life. He gets cuter and cuter everytime I see him.
Here are is his previous post at 9 months.

This image just screamed colour from the moment I shot it. I love his big beautiful blue eyes.

The little field we decided to sit in made for many good laughs, especially when he decided that he needed to taste all of the flowers (aka weeds) around us.

I am a total sucker for babies in trees. Every baby needs their portrait taken in a tree. (as long as daddy is close by to make sure they don’t fall out)

Zohra and Nadia are the first ever set of twins I have ever had the pleasure to photograph outside of the belly. (I can finally tell them apart….two sessions later! ….I think.)
I fell instantly in love with their eyes. Their eyes are so big and beautiful. I can remember during their session just gazing into their eyes, thinking…OMG what amazing eyes these girls have! (for the photographers out there…these are their eyes SOOC –no sharpening, no nothing!!!)
I instantly fell in LOVE with the first two shots. God they are beautiful! (I could just eat them up)

These two bottom shots are their funny faced shots…..

mommies and sons | Edmonton Child Photographer
There is nothing quite like the bond between a mommy and her son.
This little guy is expecting a baby brother or sister in the next little while, so we figured that we should capture these moments of him and his mommy before the new one arrives.

This is my second auction winner from the Canada Place Child Care Society silent auction I donated to this spring. With everyones generous donations, over $10 000 was raised for the society. (way to go!!!)
Providing new toys, equipment and funds for educational field trips for the year.
I can’t wait to participate again next year.

Yesterday I got together with my friend Rachel from Rachel J Photography and her family to do some photos of her daughter Linnea.
Linnea took her first steps just days before. (she is just getting so darn big!) She isn’t quite ready to run yet, but I am sure her crawling days are numbered!
Thanks for the lovely morning. I was great to see you guys. I hope thoes little toothers come in soon!

McKenna is such a little ham bone. She definately knows how to ham it up in front of the camera. (probably something that her Daddy taught her to do!)
I just love her little grin! it is so totally Mac.

Here are a couple of her showing off her newly acquired walking and dancing skills. Way to go Mac! Now there is no keeping you still!

6 months | Edmonton Baby Photographer
I can’t believe she is 6 months already, where did the time go? It seems like just yesterday that we were photographing her 1 and 3 week sessions, now….she’s big! (well kinda)
She is by far the smallest little 6 month old I have ever photographed, but she was also an itty bitty newborn when she came into this world at just over 5 lbs. I am sure in no time she will be just as big as all of the other kids on the playground, or she will be super tiny like her mommy.
